Russia is SO great!!! So cold but so great!!! I am having an absolute blast!!! I'm here with Haley and Loredana and Taylor and Whitney from GSE. The Krasnoyarsk City Sports Complex is awesome I swear!!! I'm competing against girls from all over the world, which is scary, although not as scary as the fact that in 4 days time I will be in Vermont at NEVGA with Stasia and Zippy and all the other really cool girls I got a chance to meet at the dual meet. Oh I tied 3rd by the way with none other than Misty Tanguay, behind the legendary Zipporah Valdez and ahead of Gwen Colger [you know World Champion on bars - that said ummmm she beat on bars...] I also got 2nd on vault [beaten by Valdezzzzzzzzzz] 3rd on beam [beaten by none other than Gwen Colger!!!!!! Yet still - ahead of the Valdez... maybe the book I gave her will do her some good??? Heheeheeee...] and 2nd on floor beaten by a worthy opponent in Anahita Olivo-Hamlin. It was a great meet all round and it was also a great chance for me to test the equipment, get used to the coaches and having a blast with all the girls before the move there. We all went shopping while we were there too [which was fantabulous] and I bought some perfume and the most gorgeous tops ever from the Polo/Ralph Lauren shop. So expensive, but so worth it!!!! I also got ice-cream too which is always great!!! So overall I just had a blast and then before I knew it I had arrived in Russia. It is still super cold here, right now it's -44 °F... -44!!! That's way too cold to even imagine and I am telling you I must have brought nearly all my clothes here with me!!! It's not as cold during the day but during the night I have to sleep with all my clothes on and 15 blankets wrapped around me. Okay maybe that is exaggerated a bit... but only a bit!!! Anyway I have to go now. I will try and write again tomorrow... take care
