its been a long time huh? things have been non-stop. Isabel is doing much much better and is keeping positive as always. she inspires me so much. it's bad enough having to watch go through it all, but if i was going through that i deffinately wouldn't have such a great attitude. Alexa is 6 months old now and is shuffling herself everywhere! soon she will be crawling and we will be non-stop chasing after her. she'll be talking too soon, in fatc i could have swore she almost said Ali yesterday of course it sounded more like 'Aaaahweeeeeeeeeeee' but close enough for me lol. Cristian has also been in America the past 4 weeks which has been great. he helps so much around the house he is heaven-sent i swear. he dotes on Alexa so much. i'm suprised he didn't take her back with him. we had a 'family movie night' on monday and he was like 'i love alexa. i wish i had a baby girl'. hmmmmmmm. he better not be getting ideas. my parents are doing much better too. they see Isabel improve and its like a weight is taken off their shoulders. gym is going great. waiting to see if i qualifed to nationals at the american classic or if i have to try again at the us classic - which is on my birthday! i can't believe im going to be 17 soon. i can't believe i've been competing in america almost a year!
i suprised stasia yesterday by turning up in honolulu to watch her compete at the pacific alliance champs. honolulu is b-e-autiful! and it's going to look even better when i'm walking around with all of stasia's gold medals on my neck! i skipped two days of training to come see her so she better be parting with her medals for me! she's been having a rough time lately. a new girl at gse said something harsh about her be insensitive about her parents death because she was over it in a week or something like that, i forget exactly. i think that girl needs a talking to because that is just mean. she appears and then says something like that? Stasia is by no means 'over' what happened. fact. i mean just because she doesn't go around pouring her heart out to everyone she meets doesn't mean she doesn't pour her heart out to her closest friends you know. but its like, the day after i found out Isabel was sick, i was in the gym training, it kept me going. it was either that or stay at home were i knew things were going to be tough, my parents in pieces for one. i couldn't do that so I went to the gym and worked out to help take my mind off of it. anyway, Stasia got really upset by it and i can see where she is coming from. if someone had said that to me, i probably would have been held responisble for my own actions in a court of law. or pleaded insanity lol. and i know Zippy is having a rough time too. from what Stasia said, she's being bullied because she put some names on her website gymndreams, then missed one when she was told to take them off. life's hard enough as it is without bullies. speaking of bullies, Anda and Talia are such bullies!!! they said, and i quote 'if you don't make nationals, we're going to kick your white romanian butt all the way back to constanta and let your grandma deal with you!' now if you don't know my grandma, you don't want to. she may be old but she has romanian spirit. i wouldn't be suprised if she personally took all the glory for starting the revolution. my grandma is strange and scary, but kind hearted too. anyway. ima have to dash. i think Stasia is going to show me honolulu!!! so take care.
<3 Ali
oh and i thought this romanian proverb was quite suitbale for some of the topics. see if you can work it out.
